OSWALD EUGENE HUXLEY

Oswald.jpg

Oswald Eugene Huxley was born and raised in Dumfries, Scottland. It is nine miles north of the Salway Firth inlet, near the mouth of the river Nith. His father Richard, the Duke of Dumfries, still lives and lords over the town of Dumfries. Oswald has already begun using the title of Duke of Dumfries, despite the fact that his father still lives. By law, he is allowed to do this as courtesy, and with his father's permission.

Now wanting to live in the shadow of his father, Oswald was given a parcel of property in Jedburgh, a town just 50 miles away. The property included the iconic landmark known as Fulton Tower. The circular tower stands alone with no supporting structures. It is approximately thirty feet across, and one and a half stories tall.

Oswald was ordered by his father to marry before his next birthday. Oswald set about shopping his prospects from the local gentry all the way down to the commoners. He selected Princess Sophie for her title, dowery, and access to lands on the boarder of Scotland and England. He gave no thought to her beauty, mind, or opinions.

   * Ignored by his parents and raised by house staff.

   * Bullied as a child for a studder.

   * Refused to be taught by tutors, minimal education.

   * Knows he can hit servants with no repercussions.

   * A mean streak, for which he was never reprimanded.
